Starting Ideas

When I first began to think of ideas for this project, 4 predominant ideas came to mind

• Architecture
• Wildlife
• Water
• Landscapes

With Architecture i've thought about the prospect of using film such as 5.4, medium format or 35mm to give the images a more orthentic feel. I haven't figured out what type of buildings i would photograph.

Wildlife although may seem like an easy task, its pretty difficult to conjure up a series or set of images that would work together, the only thing I could think of would be taking photographs of a particular animal and spreading the images out into different species.

Water I feel is the strongest idea out of the 4 that i've thought about. A few months back i travelled to Oxfordshire with my Dad for a walk around the beginning of the Thames River. The idea of putting together a series of images that tells the story of how the river starts and finishes is very appealing to me. Starting with the beginning of the river in Oxford, progressing through the valleys then finally ending in the nations capital.

Landscape images i think may fall into the same category as the water idea, i think i will try and combine both my water idea with landscape and try to create some beautiful landscape images that tell the story of the river Thames.
